Jodi Bonassi paints her way through the crowd, surrounding herself in every situation she rests against. Carrying across her shoulders the life bound within her, she experiences the lives and actions of ordinary people and flings images into the pot she stirs with her mind, her memories and her past. An uneasiness creeps up my arm as I look at her paintings looking out at me, as I peer into a moment I don't belong in or as Bonassi's color and line tilt towards an ever-sloping future.
