The Science of Collaboration Within the Times We Live
Mikey Welsh/Gabriel Shaffer
Collisions
The two most dynamic color throwers on this site have begun a
continuing series of collaborations designed to find a space uncovered. The
creations shown below are being worked on in the fall and winter of 2005 and
will begin to show up in the many gallery shows and festivals Mikey Welsh and
Gabriel Shaffer have been invited to attend. In the odd gallery scene of today,
their work seems to be shuttered by some in the waiting game called commerce.
But these pieces are controlled by the artists and will clearly be available to
fill an empty nail. We here at outsiderart.info are grateful to hang on for the
ride as these two young masters continue to show us the expansive field they are
running through.
